The German Jihadi militant Yassin C. aka „Abu Ibrahim“ appears in a newly released video by the „Islamic Movement Uzbekistan“ (IMU) praising the killed US-Yemeni preacher Anwar al-Awlaki as a „prime example of a Muslim“.

Yassin C. who hails from the West German city of Bonn, states the „martyrdom of Al-Imam Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki“ was a gift for the Al-Qaida-linked preacher.

„To the infidels, and especially to the dog in the White House, I want to say: You have no reason to be joyful and satisfied!“, Yassin C. says, „Sheikh Anwar and the father of the Mujahidin of our times, Sheikh Osama Bin Laden, are human beings. We knew that they have to leave this world at one point.“

„It was not Osama but the Jihad that let you and still continues to led you live in fear and terror“, the German Jihadi claims, „This Jihad will stay until the Day of Ressurection! The Flag of Jihad will be passed to a new generation!“

Yassin C. and his older brother Mounir both traveled to Pakistan in 2008 and joined the IMU in the Waziristan-area. The German brothers have appeared in numerous propaganda tapes and constantly call fellow German Muslims to join the Jihad.

According to a propaganda document released this year, Mounir and Yassin C. had lived in Yemen for some time before they came to Waziristan. In Yemen, the two claim, they have met with Anwar al-Awlaki whom they call „one of the most noble Imams of our times“. This information is not confirmed.
