240 years in prison – that´s the sentence for prisoner # 03911-000 Ramzi Ahmed Yousef, the 1993 World-Trade-Center Bomber who is currently serving his lifetime prison term in Florence (Colorado).

Now a new picture of Yousef has been released to Islamist websites, where he is seen smiling into the camera, spotting a beard and a white robe. The picture was allegedly taken in April and might be a definite proof that Yousef has not converted to Christianity in prison – as some reports suggested several years ago.

Ramzi Yousef, a Kuwaiti national born in Pakistan, set off the car bomb in the parking lot of World Trade Center on February 1993 which killed six people. Yousef afterwards fled to Iraq and later to Pakistan. According to prosecuting the Islamist was involved in several terror plots including the so-called „Bojinka Plot“ to kill Pope John Paul II. and another plot to bomb U.S. commercial airliners.

He was arrested in February 1995 in Islamabad and then transferred to the U.S. where in November 1997 he was sentenced to 240 years in prison.

In addition to the new picture showing Ramzi Yousef, also a new picture of his uncle, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, appeared on Jihadi internet forums recently. The new picture shows the 9/11 mastermind who is currently imprisoned at Guantánamo Bay (Cuba) wearing a woolen hat.

German Jihadi Yassin C. Praises Awlaki As „Prime Example of a Muslim“

by Florian Flade

Yassin C. aka „Abu Ibrahim“ in new IMU tape

The German Jihadi militant Yassin C. aka „Abu Ibrahim“ appears in a newly released video by the „Islamic Movement Uzbekistan“ (IMU) praising the killed US-Yemeni preacher Anwar al-Awlaki as a „prime example of a Muslim“.

Yassin C. who hails from the West German city of Bonn, states the „martyrdom of Al-Imam Sheikh Anwar al-Awlaki“ was a gift for the Al-Qaida-linked preacher.

„To the infidels, and especially to the dog in the White House, I want to say: You have no reason to be joyful and satisfied!“, Yassin C. says, „Sheikh Anwar and the father of the Mujahidin of our times, Sheikh Osama Bin Laden, are human beings. We knew that they have to leave this world at one point.“

„It was not Osama but the Jihad that let you and still continues to led you live in fear and terror“, the German Jihadi claims, „This Jihad will stay until the Day of Ressurection! The Flag of Jihad will be passed to a new generation!“

Yassin C. and his older brother Mounir both traveled to Pakistan in 2008 and joined the IMU in the Waziristan-area. The German brothers have appeared in numerous propaganda tapes and constantly call fellow German Muslims to join the Jihad.

According to a propaganda document released this year, Mounir and Yassin C. had lived in Yemen for some time before they came to Waziristan. In Yemen, the two claim, they have met with Anwar al-Awlaki whom they call „one of the most noble Imams of our times“. This information is not confirmed.

„Welcome Back“ – Berlin Terror Suspects Freed

A picture tells more than a thousand words. Samir M. and Hani N. couldn´t be more happy, smiling into the camera, surrounded by friends and comrades. The picture showing the two Berlin terror suspects next to former rap musician „Abou Maleeq“ and former prisoner Mohammad M. aka „Abu Usama al-Gharib“, appeared yesterday on Facebook.

On Wednesday evening Samir M. and Hani N., who had been arrested in Berlin on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack, were released after a judge ruled there was not enough evidence to extend the two men´s prison time. This however does mean the investigation into the case has been closed.

When Samir M. and Hani N. left the prison in Berlin-Moabit they were greeted and welcomed by their old friend – Ex-Rap musician Denis Cuspert alias „Abou Maleeq“, a Berlin native who has become a prominent figure within the Islamist community of Germany.

Amongst those picking up Samir M. and Hani N. from prison was Austrian Islamist figure Mohammad M. known as „Abu Usama al-Gharib“. M. has only been released from prison in Vienna since September 12. He had served a prison-term because he was spreading Jihadi propaganda on the internet. During his jail-time Mohammad M. became a well-known Islamist activist writing and preaching out of his prison cell.

Now Mohammad M. is a free man, joining Jihadi-Activism and rising the ranks of the Salafi Media operatives. He is now serving as the „Amir“ of Salafi Media Germany, making all the important decisions on various projects including „Ansar al-Aseer“ – a website created to help imprisoned Islamists.

The alleged Jihadi terror suspects Samir M. and Hani N. had been arrested by Berlin police squads on September 8 in their homes in Berlin-Kreuzberg and Berlin-Neukölln. Counter-terrorism investigators collected evidence both men had ordered large quantities of chemicals via the internet and were planning to build a bomb.

Lebanese Samir M. and Palestinian Hani N. were known members of the radical Salafi community of Berlin. When police raided Samir M.´s home in Berlin-Kreuzberg in 2009 they found literature with Jihadi content. In September 2009 he also tried to leave Germany and travel to Pakistan to join a terrorist group. Police arrested Samir M. and other Jihadi suspects at Berlin´s Airport Tegel.
